Virtual reality is coming to our workshops.

Sembrando Flores is based in Redlands, California. Our work started two hundred miles away, in the Imperial Valley. That distance is the whole story.

WHAT WE DO
Hands-on health career workshops for high school students, in English and Spanish.
Our team brings real instruments, real cases, and health professionals from communities like yours into the classroom. Students practice a skill, teach it to the adult at home, and build a portfolio of what they can do. Every workshop follows one patient story and is aligned to the California CTE Health Science and Medical Technology pathway.

THE FOUNDERS
Built by a health professions educator and a high school teacher.
Sembrando Flores was founded by Christopher, a health professions educator, and Jessica, a high school teacher. Between them is the expertise a program like this needs: the clinical world and the classroom, in the same room. They kept meeting talented students in underserved communities who had never met a health professional who looked like them, and they are changing that: one cohort, one school, one community at a time.
